Below are some of our frequently asked questions about our custom portraits. If your query isn't below please don't hesitate to get in touch with us here.
The first thing to do is get in touch with us via our online form here. You upload the image you would like us to commision and we will then review it and get back to you with any concerns e.g. image quality etc and if all is good we will confirm pricing and timescales. You will then place an order on our site and work will begin.
Absoluletly! This is not a simple digitisation with a filter that you see on some sites, this is a real hand drawn piece. If you have any questions we are happy to put you in touch with our artists directly before the commission begins
Although we specialise in portraits, pets and children provided that the image you send us is clear enough we are happy to review and image and advise you of its suitability.
This is a difficult question to answer as it depends on the current workload of our artists. Each pencil drawing on A3 can take anywhere between 20-30 hours, however if your fill in our contact form we will be able to advise you of timescales before you place your order.
Due to the level of detail required we restrict the number of subjects to 2 people / animals.
An A3 portrait of a single animal e.g. Dog is £160.
A 2 persons A3 portrait is £210. All prices will be quoted with a timescale before you place your order
Yes all portraits are framed as standard up to A3. Any larger portraits will be framed on request and may incur an additional charge although you will be informed of this before placing your order.
Once completed your portrait will be packaged and sent via Royal Mail or courier signed for delivery. Delivery charges will be included in your quote.
Yes, as we work from photos we are happy to mail portraits out worldwide.
Not at the moment - only graphite pencil
Our artists usually initial their work but can include a full signature. If you would like any custom text such as the name of the person / date please let us know and we can accomodate.
In this very unlikely scenario we offer a full money back guarantee if you are unsatisfied.
Yes depending on the size, this will incur an additional charge of around £10-£20.
